I have a Mac Pro (2009).

I would like to be able to watch photos and videos on my TV via Apple TV.

Is there a way to do this?

What equipment/programs do I need?

I can connect and watch YouTube videos from my iPhone through Apple TV.

Is there a way I can do this through my Mac Pro?

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
