Q: Wireless connection to my Mac Pro (2009)

This is an issue with my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse and my computer.

The communication between my mouse and keyboard are fine as you can tell.

The problem is at boot up. For some reason....the computer can't find my mouse or keyboard.

I will get a "No keyboard found" message. The daisy wheel will continue to spin and search.

I then will have to turn both my mouse and keyboard off and on several times before it finally connects.

Even after it finds the keyboard and mouse it seems to loose the signal and searches again.

From the time I press the ON button to the time it recognizes and connects, is about 5 mins.

Any ideas as to what may be going on? I didn't have this problem when I first purchased the wireless stuff.

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

    Thank you kaz-k for responding.

Yes, all of that was done, all of that was checked before contacting you guys.

All batteries are at 100%. Everything is on and there is no metal between my mouse, keyboard and computer.

IF I "Sleep" my unit and click back on, all is good.

The problem is at boot up and boot up only. So, therefore, I don't "Shut Down". If i do....i'll have to wait 5 to 10 mins before my wireless is connected.

    Thanks again kaz-k.
