Q: How to resolve "SIM Not Supported"  error

Recently purchased the iPhone SE 64GB from an Apple store in Cali. The phone is unlocked but I've tried to use it in Kenya with Safaricom sim and I'm getting an error message 'SIM Not Supported". What does this mean & how do I resolve?
