Q: Mails keep returning after deleting them.

I am using the Apple mail software which is connected and synced with my Google mail account. (@gmail)

I've got Inbox, Sent and All messages. My inbox and sent is nice and tidy. But my ''All messages'' box keeps refreshing mails after deleting them.

So the problem occurs when I delete all mails from the ''all messages'' box. All mails appear to be gone for a couple of seconds. But suddenly they all keep coming back. (It is a total of 11k mails)

When I log in to my gmail account trough Safari I can see the same amount of mails in the ''All messages'' box. But I cannot select them all, because it seems like I can only select 100 mails at a time.

I understand that the problem is quite vauge. Still I do hope that someone can help me.

Note: English is not my native language, I am doing my best to make any form of sense.

    Hi,

On my Google Mail Web Page I see this:-

    Google.png

Many Folders are added by myself.

Google run an IMAP server and a POP server that the Mail App can connect to.

The IMAP one will duplicate all the folders in Mail.

I do not have an All Messages one.

It sounds like this has been created and and contains both Sent and Received Mail which would mean things in the Deleted folder would still show.

At the bottom left corner of your screen it says 'more' if you click that it will show the ''all messages'' box.

Try going back to the website and somewhere in your preferences is the option to disable All Mail.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that.

    But Where ?

    Screen Shot 2016-08-19 at 20.35.44.png

My Website IMAP server has an "All Mail" folder.

Nowhere is there an "All Message" option.

Nor is there a More button.

    I am using Classic mode.
