Q: how can i protect my HP printer on my MAC

thanks, but I not only changed my password, i changed my router/modem, and the only ones that have the password are my husband and myself - and WE didn't print that stuff!

no one comes looking for any printouts.  We've had this problem for 5 weeks now but only 1x a week.

I'm not sure about other communications methods (?) not sure how to check.  I did go into system preferences and looked at the network information.  There were several network names shown - other than mine - that did not have passwords on them (like Wendys, public library, staples, etc).  I just deleted them all and left only my router name.  I won't know until next week, Thursday, to see if that fixes the problem, but thanks for your insight.
