Q: MacBook Battery Not Charging, dim green light

Hi all!

I have a 2009 aluminum body MacBook (not a pro) model A1278, just recently had the battery and charger stopped working. My previous charger broke, and it took me a while to get a new one. When I did, the battery was completely drained, and would not turn on at all. I let it charge overnight, but the llight on the new charger was a very very dim green, and still showed no battery charge the next day. So I ordered a new battery, that still didn't work. Did some research, reset the SMC, replaced the battery connector cable, replaced the DC in cable, all of which still resulted in the same dim green light on my charger. The MacBook turned on because it is a new battery, but it still says battery not charging, has not turned on for me with just the power adapter in and no battery. I hate to have to replace the logic board too (so expensive!) any clues on what else it may be?

Thanks!

tl;dr

charger died, battery died

replaced charger and battery, but battery not charging, charger has dim green light.

reset SMC

replaced battery connector cable and DC-in adapter

still battery not charging and charger has dim green light.

Could it be anything other than the logic board??
