Q: Back to my Mac

Hi Carolyn,

I have followed this to a T.  My airport utility is 7.6.7

On my Macbook Pro, within the SAME local network, since I see the iMac 27 under Shared, my setting in the iMac 27 is correct.

On my Macbook pro, externally, I do not see iMac 27 under Shared.  I see other computers within the same network but NOT the iMac 27.

On my Macbook pro, under finder/preferences/sidebar, BACK TO MY MAC, connected servers, and Bonjour computers are all checked.

My iMac is on at my home and Security & Privacy, Firewall is OFF.

What else can i try?

Any ideas from experts????

I had another IT expert going through setup as suggested by Carolyn.  So far, still cannot "back to my Mac".
