Q: iOS 9.3.3 and 9.3.4 Safari Crashes on Search Entry

Hi folks,

I'm having the same issues on multiple iOS devices now, specifically my iPhone 6 and iPad mini 3. Basically, whenever I try and use the address/search bar, as soon as I enter a single letter, the app crashes.

I have tried the following to remedy the issue, without success:

- rebooting the device

- quitting the app and then starting the app fresh

- quitting the app, rebooting the device, and then starting the app fresh

- same as above, while also having cleared all open tabs in the app.

I was excited to see iOS 9.3.4 roll out and had hoped it would address the issues. Not so.

I even chalked it up to a glitchy upgrade and did a restore on the iPhone, same problem, and, iTunes hosed the majority of my apps, which are no longer on the phone after trying to restore from a manual backup. So now my phone layout is ruined and Safari doesn't work properly and I'm left wondering about the reliability of iTunes as it regards backups and restoration. I can still open bookmarks and links in messages or emails without issue. It's just the text entry in the search/address bar that kills it.

Regrettably, I'm seeing the same issue on the iPad mini 3. Not cool.

Anyone else seeing issues like this after the recent upgrades? Any luck with a remedy?
