Q: sharing contacts

Are they your accounts or is one somebody elses and if they are yours what exactly do you mean by share.

Sharing an account is not an ideal thing to do. If all you want to do is share contacts then one solution is to allow the other person to log in to your account and just use the contacts data. Your wife can log into your account at settings > Mail, contacts, calendars on her mobile device.

If you don't like the idea of her signing into your account, you could create a third shared ID and both log into it to use contacts.

The next thing to think about is how to transfer existing contacts from one account to another, do you have a Mac or PC you can do this on.
