Q: NO KEYNOTE ON MY MAC

Hi,

I can not find Keynote on my mac. I read I have to "purchase" but not even that I can do.

Where I go to App Store there is no option of buying Keynote. Instead there is the option to "download" or "update."

I have done that and still I can not find it!

It has been a terrible experience.

Now I changed my Apple ID (a long process) to reflect my current credit card and country, lets see if that brings Keynote.

Can you help?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

That is the correct procedure, Keynote will be placed in the Applications folder.

To verify an install from the Mac App Store: open the App Store then go to Purchases tab then click the Open button next to Keynote.

If that does not work, phone Apple support and they will reset your account.

Creating a new Apple ID will make matters worse,  if you created a new Apple ID you will not be able to see or install any previous purchses made with the original ID.

If you mean you updated your details in your existing ID that is OK.

Again phone Apple support for help.
