Q: Problem with connecting IPhone to laptop
I wanted to transfer my photos from my IPhone 5s to my laptop, but it doesn't work
When I connect my IPhone with a USB-cable to my laptop, I hear the connecting sound. But when I try to open the Apple-folder it doesn't go. I get an error message: "The device doens't answer anymore or the connection with the device was interrupted"
Synching with ITunes still works very well.
Can anybody help me, please?

If you have a PC try the steps in these articles starting with the first on. Even though iTunes is working for you, the same drivers that allow iTunes also affect File Manager and Device Manager in PCs.
