Aug 21, 2016 10:04 AM in response to AngelaC-Tby Eric Root,Clarification questions - did you previously download Yosemite? Is it in your App Store Purchases tab? You posted it may be corrupt - did you get the installer downloaded? If you can download the installer from the Purchases tab, have you tried downloading/installing in the Safe Mode or another admin account?
Try resetting the App Store and Clearing Cookies.

Aug 21, 2016 11:43 AM in response to AngelaC-Tby FatMac>MacPro,Apple changed its certificates in February and earlier installer downloads will have the wrong one and not function. Try Eric Root's suggestion to get the installer with the current certificate.
