Q: iMac G3 issue (Update)
(Meant to post here, but I keep posting it to the wrong place by accident. If the original version (which has the exact same name) of this pops up it's exactly the same)
This is updated info from my last post. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I've learned more info about my issue, and I don't know if it's possible to edit a post and it already has a lot of text that would bury this. But I'll see.
I decided to start it up again last night and noticed more details then what I originally told.
Holding shift to disable extensions does not get me any further, it still gets me this far:http://i.imgur.com/1ZJy4yQ.jpg
I realized that the iMac does lock up when loading the desktop (When I said it crashed I meant it locked up)
It locked up when the time (inaccurate because I unplug it when I'm done) read 12:04 AM. It did unfreeze for a quick second before it locked up and the wristwatch cursor appeared, this brief unfreeze happened when the iMac's clock read 12:15. I shut it down after that and restarted it to try to bring up disk first aid on startup.
I shut down and restarted it when the time appeared on the desktop. When it rebooted, it started up disk first aid and within a minute (before it continued starting up) showed this:

"ERROR: Disk First Aid is unable to read the startup disk. For help, search for 'Disk First Aid' in Mac OS Help"
When clicking done it continues to boot up until the desktop like in the first image.
The set of discs I had turned out to be from the iMac software bundles for OS 9.0.4 and 10.0.3. The 9.1 disk written in sharpie appears to be from something else, but I don't know.
Now I did learn about what this indigo iMac's specs should be (Credit to Tesserax), but because (as the last post said) it was refurbished using parts from the indigo and two blueberry iMacs that I'm not sure how much the specs could be mixed up between those 3.
I've seen posts online about fixing the Disk First Aid issue by having a cd of the startup disk for Disk First Aid to read, but I don't know what to do. I think 9.2 could have used the retail disc.
Hopefully adding this info to the last post could make my issue easier to understand.
