    From this article:

Use AirDrop to send content from your Mac - Apple Support

Be certain your Mac meets the requirements:

If your Mac does meet the requirements, then read the article for further tips.

Thats helpful in terms of the Q answered.

The link has good description for 'SENDING items' from Mac to others. But not about 'Receiving Items'.

There is a confusing Text in case of 'RECEIVING files on Mac from Other devices.

    "Receive items

If the recipient is signed in to your iCloud account, the item you're sending is automatically accepted and saved. Otherwise, the recipient is asked to accept the item before it's saved to their device."

If 'sender' is me(mac) for SENDING ITEMS case which works good.
Then 'recipient' also me(mac) for RECEIVE ITEMS case. right?  Then why it says "If the recipient is signed in to your iCloud account,.."??  Confusing me completely.

Also, no description of steps given for RECEIVING ITEMS.

Cause, for many users AirDrop don't work or shows Macbook when sending from iPhone.

For my case iOS9.3.2 iPhone 6S Plus.  and MBP El Capital 10.11.6

But Sending Items are cool from Mac to Phone. Very fast as well.

I am looking for other direction/way transfer which always a pain and never happens.
