If I understand correctly, there's an issue pairing your iPhone 6S Plus with your MacBook Pro. This is most likely occurring because the devices are attempting to use an unsupported Bluetooth profile, you can find the supported Bluetooth profiles here:

If the issue occurs when pairing with another Bluetooth device that's using a supported Bluetooth profile, try the troubleshooting tips in the article below.

Aug 22, 2016 5:35 AM in response to jeguna83by Superchop728,I have the iphone 6S. I have the same issue. The customer service reply doesn't make sense. My 6S is supported for all Bluetooth profiles according to the link. Two weeks ago I had an iphone 6 that paired just fine and would update/mirror all my text messages I send so I know that it has worked.
