Aug 22, 2016 10:23 AM in response to vivianmayby Studio X,If the file is 720x480, that is all the pixel information you have to work with. To play it full screen on an HDTV that is 1920 x1080 is going to look pretty grim unless the TV has a really good scaling algorithm - and most don't.
One way around this is to play the video within a window so that it doesn't go full screen.
A second way around is to use a program like Apple's Motion or Adobe After Effects to scale the video to something closer to the TV's native resolution so it doesn't have to work so hard scaling the material.
