Q: Why does resetting my iPhone 5 settings also reset my iPad Pro?
I'm curious about this. I just got my replacement iPhone 5 on Thursday, and I've noticed a strange behavior: whenever I reset the network settings on my iPhone to troubleshoot issues I've been having, I also reset the network settings on my iPad Pro. Why? This didn't happen on my old iPhone 5.

Because you are likely using Keychain which syncs across devices. If you don't need Keychain, just disable it.
