Q: IPad is bogged down

Try these standard troubleshooting steps.

Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-20 seconds).

If your backup is to iTunes, make sure it's an encrypted backup.

You should also check in Settings > General > Storage... if you have at least 10% of your storage free.

Even if you tap to Clear History & Website Data in Settings > General > Reset, that really doesn't free up that much storage space.
