Q: My 7th Gen Nano is recognized on one computer but not the other
My 7th Gen Nano is recognized on one computer but not the other. I've gone through all the troubleshooting tips. Different cables, try all the USB ports, uninstall/reinstall itunes, etc. I have the most up to date itunes software. I was able to connect the ipod to my back up computer and confirmed that I have the most up to date software on ipod also. Since I was able to connect it, I also did a factory reset on the ipod, but it still would not connect to my primary computer. Nothing has worked. I think it must be a setting on my pc. I'm running the most recent version of windows 10. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks
iPod nano, Windows 10

Me too! I found a link that helped me:

Apparently not only do you need to uninstall itunes, but you also have to uninstall a number of other apple apps/software and in a certain order.
se the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support 32-bit
Apple Application Support 64-bit
On some systems, iTunes might install two versions of Apple Application Support. This is expected. If both are present, be sure to uninstall both versions.
Cheers!
