Q: iTunes purchases not showing

I recently made a purchase of a group of films as a bulk buy on iTunes.  The transaction shows in my transaction history and the four movies show up in the Videos app on my three iOS devices, but the four movies do not show as purchased in the iTunes Store app on my iOS devices; nor do they show up under purchased items on my Apple TV or on iTunes on my MacBook Pro.  I have tried the usual tricks about showing hidden purchases, but they're simply not seeming to have recorded as purchases in the iTunes Store, despite the transaction history and the fact that they are showing up on the Videos app on my iOS devices.  I would quite like to be able to watch these movies on my Apple TV and I was looking for them on that devices, hence I noticed.  I know that I can AirPlay from my iOS devices, but that isn't the point.  Right now, I have paid for something which I can't use.  Does anyone have any thoughts about this?  Thanks for any assistance that is provided.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

You've tried logging out and back into your account on your Apple TV and Mac ? If the versions that you bought are no longer in the store, or you've moved countries since buying them, they won't be redownloadable

Thanks, but I tried that already on the Apple TV and it made no difference. The fact that they're not showing up in the iTunes Store on either my iOS devices' respective apps or on iTunes (either the store or collection) on my Mac makes me think it's something more fundamental.

I made the purchase on my iPhone and all four movies are showing up in the Videos app on my iOS devices, but the only other mention of them that I can find is in the transaction history for my account in iTunes on my Mac, where the purchase is recorded. I'm wondering if the problem is on Apple's servers as the movies are still available on iTunes.

In the Videos apps on the devices, are they downloaded/synced to them, or are they showing in the cloud ? If in the cloud have you got a film age rating set on your Mac that is hiding them from it ?

I don't have any age ratings set on any of the devices.  On the iOS devices they are showing in the cloud in the Videos app.  I have downloaded one of the movies to my iPhone and it shows downloaded on that device.  Despite that, they are not showing on the iTunes Store app on the iOS devices; nor are they showing at all on the Apple TV or the Mac. Like I said, the only reference to them that I can find on the Mac is a reference to the purchase in my iTunes transaction history.

Apart from logging out and back into your account on your Mac, what else have you tried on it ?
