iBooks

Q: lost ibooks pdf's on ipad but are on iphone

Have lost my ibook's pdf's. Has anyone else had the same experience? How do you get them back especially if you have them on your iphone and your devices are suppose to sync?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

Unless you are using iCloud Drive for ibooks they won't copy to other devices through the cloud. If you aren't using iCloud Drive you could try connecting your phone to your computer's iTunes and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (that has always copied PDFs/epubs from my devices, not just ibooks and other purchases) and then do File > Move Books From iTunes in iBooks on your Mac - they should then show in iTunes for selecting and syncing to other iOS devices
