Q: apps purchased are not loading on ipad or iphone

I purchased some apps for my iphone 4 and ipad the are not loading...icon is there and waiting is under the app. The apps do not show up for downloading in itunes.

iPad 2, iOS 5.1.1, both ipad and iphone have app icons

MMine too what's up with that ? It won't let me delete an app and reload it either. Now iPhone 7 is doing the same and both are no longer linking to each other :/

I made sure software is up to date and I meant iPhone 6 . I have checked all settings for apps .

Have you tried a soft-reset/reboot of the phone to see if that gets them to resume loading ?
