Apr 30, 2016 10:53 AM in response to franycivitby colinjack,I seemed to have to switch off iCloud music, at that point I began to wonder what the point of paying Apple £15 a month when I couldn't seem to use their service whilst also accessing music I've bought over the years, so I unsubscribed.
It is kinda scary how badly thought through a lot of iTunes and Apple Music related decisions seem to be...

May 11, 2016 10:01 AM in response to Jenks855by AndreainTO,I'm not sure what people mean when they say the "summary tab".
I'm not sure what people mean when the say "iCloud Library". I go to iCloud Drive on my phone and turn it on, but the word "library" doesn't appear.
The Genius did not appear above Music when I turned on cellular data.
So I still can't find the "sync" button, manually or automatically. I can't uncheck a song. I can't delete a song using the delete button. I'm stuck.
I finally found the sync button! I right clicked beneath the word Devices in the Playlists view and it came up.
maybe doing something in all those suggestions worked.

May 12, 2016 12:25 PM in response to tigerstacks94by gg_slider,holy crap, just when i thought nothing anyone said on these forums would work this did. You're a saint, i might even go as far as saying I'm falling in love with you. You cannot imagine how frustrating it was not being able to sync new music to my phone and the steps everyone else had been talking about doing absolutely nothing to help my problem.
thank you so much -

Aug 23, 2016 5:48 AM in response to tigerstacks94by BHeim,Worked, thanks. Not sure why Apple continues to make default changes to our phone/iTunes setups when they update. As bright as they are you would think they would make it easier on the user. Beginning to be painful to even look at an update message.

Sep 28, 2016 6:22 AM in response to Jenks855by tootsielou,Fo MacBook El Capitan: In iTunes 12, there is an icon of the device on the left side bar and above that side bar as well. Click on the top one and a summary will appear. The manually manage music option is listed in that summary.
