Q: Is there any hope for an iphone 4s that locked during the latest update?

my iphone 4s locked up in the middle of the update to 9.1.3  Is there any hope of repairing it, i tried itunes and it quits and says error 29?

iPhone 4S, iOS 9.3.1

Get help with iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support

 

If you're using Windows, disable or uninstall any anti-virus and firewall software you have running.

It can interfere with the restore process.
