Q: Can't write to network disk

I have a Synology RT1900AC that I've connected a 2 TB WD Wiress MyPassport hard drive to. The drive is HFS+ formatted. I can see the drive from both the MacBooks we use, but cannot write to it from either. When I look at Info for any files/folder on the drive, it says "You can only read this ...", BUT it says Everyone has read and write permissions. What's more, if I check via Terminal, I see that all files/folders on the drive are read/write/execute permissions. Finally, if I access the drive via Synology DS Files app on my iPhone or iPad, I can write to the drive - it's only on the MacBooks that I cannot.

Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks!
