Q: strange problem printing photo book in Photos

I recently spent hours putting together putting together a photo  book in Photos for a family trip. When we finished we went to buy the book in the Apple store and got a message that the store was temporarily down for upgrade. This turned out to be untrue. For some reason the store would not accept photo books from my computer. I had a small former iPhotos project on my wife's computer and could connect to the store there. But there is no way to move my large project to her computer. I spent several hours over three days old the phone with Apple Support but we never solved the  problem. Our last action was to reload the operating system ( the latest). When this didn't work they stopped responding to my emails and calls. If anyone else has seen this problem let me know please. I am now trying to rebuild the book on Shutterfly.

    1 - to help we need details - You state you have OS X 10.5.4 and you are using Photos - this is not possible - what version of the OS do you actually have and what version of Photos?

     

    2 - what is the exact message you get?

     

    3 - verify the following - that you have the correct print product store selected in the Photos preferences and in your Print Products Store account (under the file menu in PHotos) that the billing and shipping addresses match he billing address

     

    4 - turn off any third part firewall or virus software like little Snitch ect

     

    5 - preview the book according to these instructions - Preview a print project in Photos or iPhoto to avoid issues - Apple Support - and try ordering again

     

    6 - if the problem continues boot into safe mode, preview again (fonts may change) and if the preview is good order while in safe mode

     

    7 - if you choose to go the third party printer route PrestoPhotos can print your book without redoing it

    It is hard for us to suggest something new, if we do not know what you already tried with Apple Support. which country are you in?

     

    And when in the process of ordering the book does the message occur?
