Aug 24, 2016 1:30 PM in response to sbermanby Lanny,So you believe that the MacBook's Applecare 3 year warranty coverage is applicable to a separately purchased USB-C to USB adapter?

Aug 24, 2016 1:34 PM in response to Lannyby sberman,Neither I nor the OP suggested we were talking about a three year period.
I am saying the accessories tend to be warrantied for at least one year. Regarding whether AppleCare covers them for two additional years, I have no experience there.

It is not mine. The USB-C MacBook was introduced 17 months ago. So it's possible the OP has a MacBook more than a year old, and you may be right. I'm sure the OP will tell us if that is the case.
