Q: iPod Touch 5th gen "Can't verify server identity"

So my school requires a log-in for which you need to go to in order to access the wifi. So first you connect through settings, then you go to safari and search for a random page, and then the window should pop up. However whenever I try to do that, I always get the same message:

"Safari can't verify the server identity"

Or something like that. Anywho, I've tried changing my dates and times. I've also tried resetting my network settings. My iPod is able to connect to everything except the school wifi, but all my friends who own both iPhones and Androids are able to connect and it's starting to get really frustrating. Please help me because I don't wanna go another 3 years without wifi at school .

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Reset network settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings. You will have to rejoin all wifi networks

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    - Restore from backup. See:

    iOS: How to back up

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I've tried all of the above except for the last one, so I guess I'll be trying the last one to see if it works. If it doesn't... well... That'll definitely suck
