Q: Airport Time Capsule Intermittent Internet
Hi All,
I am having intermittent connection issues with my Time Capsule on Wi-Fi.
I only physically see the issue when I go into Airport Utility and the Light next the the internet connection flicks green for 1 second then orange for 2 seconds. I notice the connection loss when streaming files over the internet and also in Mail I think it trips up my Gmail with an error due to the connection.
Is there any fix or solution for this? I have tried recreating the network using short names as well as renaming the TC to a short name which was one suggestion.
I have tried what I think are most combinations however am unsure if the modem or the TC is the issue. I have been hesitant to play with the modem specs too much as it's provided/set by the ISP but happy to have a look here too.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks.

The Alcatel Lucent I-240G is not a simple modem but a combination modem & router or gateway device. I see you already have the Time Capsule in bridge mode which would be correct with this combination of devices.
An intermittent green and amber flashing LED would indicate that the base station has identified itself when requested by the AirPort Utility to "find it."
At this point, it would be difficult to determine which, if either, device may be faulty.
I would start by performing a complete power recycle of your networking equipment. Check out the following AirPort User tip for the details. Please post back your results.
