Aug 29, 2016 3:17 AM in response to Ryszby TJTomAndJerry,I am using the non-retina MacBook Pro (Mid-2012, not late, sorry for the mistyped word.) I look at this computer's CPU page, it shows that the processor supports up to 32GB. Not sure if the logic board supports it. On Apple's support website it says it supports 8GB but I managed to do 16, just wondering about 32.
p.s. Sorry for the late reply

Aug 29, 2016 4:10 AM in response to Tom Shenby OGELTHORPE,To date I have seen no third party vendor offer 16 GB RAM chips that are compatible with any MBP so I would be apt to say 32 GB RAM in a MBP will not work. However recently I did see 16 GB RAM modules for sale. One can purchase them, install them and see what are the results.
Ciao.
