Q: Can a "family member" in a "family group" pay for his/her own purchases without them being charged to the "family organizers" account?

My family is wanting to share our purchases however, we do not want to be purchasing for each other. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, if charged to their own Apple ID.

As long as each family member has enough iTunes credit in their accounts to pay for the purchase it will use that first instead of the family organizers card.

Beyond that, when in a Family group only the organizers credit card will be used for payment of all family purchases if there is not enough iTunes credit balance on the Apple ID that initiates the purchase to cover it.

Members of a family group cannot use their own associated credit cards.
