Q: iphone6 turn of the find my phone lock

please tell me how to turn off the find my phone lock to off before I send it back to my insurance company.

the phone is damaged and it will not turn on

please help

Click here and follow the instructions. If you weren’t the one who set the lock, you need to contact the person who did, or Apple if you’re the iPhone’s original owner.

On the computer, log into www.icloud.com, select the device and erase it. Then remove it from your account. It would erase if it can be powered on and connect when the device is examined.

Go to your web browser and sign into iCloud.com. From there, go to the Find My Phone button. You can erase your phone from there.
