Q: Problem with Airport Extreme & Synology NAS

I have a Synology NAS (212J) that have been directly connected to my Asus router with
the network cable, I have had full access through web interface and via various
apps (DS File, DS Download mm.)

I have now bought a brand new Airport Exteme and made the same thing as with my previous
Asus, connect the Synology with Ethernet cable to my Extreme.

The only way to reach my NAS now is thru Finder. I can´t browse it via Safari, I can´t
reach it thru the apps.

Have I done something wrong, or is it not possible?

Have you already tried the following? I'm assuming that you have since you stated that you can access it via Finder.

    From Synology Support:

"To access your Synology NAS via WebDAV with Mac devices:

    1. In Finder, click Go > Connect to Server from the menu bar.
    2. Click Connect to continue.
    3. Enter your DSM user name and password in the Name and Password fields. Then click Connect.
    4. Now you should be able to see the shared folders on your Synology NAS in Finder."

To access the NAS from Safari, you need to ensure that the WebDAV server has been configured in Synology's DiskStation Manager.

Check out this Synology Knowledge Base article for the details.
