Q: Final Cut Pro X export Video audio Won't Play on iPhone

I exported a video Final Cut Pro X, the video plays fine on all other devices except when I play it on iphone 6. The audio ( voices track) wont play but the background music plays perfectly. I have tried other iphones and got the same results. Has anyone else ran into this issue ?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

What settings did you use to export it?

How long of a video is it?

Are you listening through the phone's speaker or headphones?

If your many tracks have been mixed properly in FCPX to a stereo pair, you should hear everything on the phone. That is, the phone has no way of separating the music from the voices unless they're on separate channels and, for some reason, only one channel is playing on the phone.

You might actually get more help on the iPhone6 forum although that place tends to saturated with Apple non-fans complaining about obscure stuff.

Thanks, after you said " mixed properly in FCPX to a stereo pair", I did some research and figured out I need to switch my voices track in the audio inspector to Dual Mono, instead of stereo and turn one off the dual tracks off to allow the vocals to come through.
