Q: How to control a Mac mini with fried HDMI and Lightning ports? (The rest is ok)
Recently a lightning strike fried the video output ports (HDMI and Lightning) on my Mac Mini Late 2012. As far as I can determine, the rest of the machine is running just fine. It's just blind. I can't get anyone to work on it, but I don't want to throw away a perfectly (well, almost perfectly well) functioning computer.
If I can get control over the Mac Mini for just a couple of days, I could set it up as a dedicated Time Machine or perhaps even an iTunes or media Server. How can I achieve this?
Mac mini (Late 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), Late convert, and accordingly rabid

You need to replace the logic board.
Likely better off purchasing a used 2012
