Aug 26, 2016 1:39 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by SteveDC2,On my iPhone 5s and my wife's Iphone 6 if I zoom in as far as possible the map disappears and all I get is a gray checkered display. If I zoom back out just a tiny, tiny miniscule fraction the map re-appears.
Been like that for me since the iPhone 4 days.
BR,
Steve

Aug 26, 2016 1:43 PM in response to SteveDC2by ChrisJ4203,Well, as you can see, that is the view from my iPhone 6s, and is the same as it has been for all of my other iPhones, since the first time Find My iPhone was available. I've got it zoomed in completely. As indicated before, the only time it would fail in the manner is if you were in a bad data area. Although it could happen if the map does not have the resolution to zoom that far. That can happen with certain rural areas where the satellite resolution is low.
