Q: How do I download previously purchased music from iTunes now that I've changed my Apple ID it no longer shows up

How do I download previously purchased music from iTunes from a previous iPhone with a previous Apple ID? Didn't have an iPhone for approximately a year but music was in iCloud. Cannot access it now because I stupidly changed my Apple ID. I cannot sign in using the old ID. Please help, I'm lost!

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5

The only way to re download past purchases is by signing into iTunes using the same Apple ID they were purchased from.

Use these steps to see which Apple ID you used to download an item.

If you cannot sign in with the old ID, then you cannot download the music.
