You have posted on the Apple (computers and iDevices) forum for Publishing books. We are user to user forums for computer and iDevice problems.
We cannot help you return light bulbs.
Please let us know if I've misunderstood your problem.

Aug 25, 2016 12:18 PM in response to babowaby turingtest2,Apple sell various HomeKit products of which this is one: http://www.apple.com/search/hue?src=alp.
It probably won't appear in a user's list of Apple products since it is an accessory, and third party at that, however there should still be a way to report an item that is faulty on delivery and have it replaced. Assuming it was bought from the Apple Store I believe that is here: http://www.apple.com/shop/help/returns_refund

Aug 25, 2016 2:06 PM in response to turingtest2by babowa,Thanks. It would not have occurred to me in a million years to think that Apple would be in the business of selling light bulbs. I just go to the nearest hardware store or a place like Home Depot.

Aug 25, 2016 2:45 PM in response to babowaby turingtest2,Likewise, though HomeKit intrigues me. I have no real use for it but I would like to try anyway. Lighting control is part of the day job.

The Hue lights are amazing. Of course, I use them with my Amazon Echo more than Homekit.

I'm not sure if that phrase would work.
However, being able to turn off all the lights in my bedroom without getting out of bed is very nice. Even nicer is the timer that makes them come up very slowly in the morning, especially in the winter. I'm not a morning person and it really helps.
