It probably won't appear in a user's list of Apple products since it is an accessory, and third party at that, however there should still be a way to report an item that is faulty on delivery and have it replaced. Assuming it was bought from the Apple Store I believe that is here: http://www.apple.com/shop/help/returns_refund

Thanks. It would not have occurred to me in a million years to think that Apple would be in the business of selling light bulbs. I just go to the nearest hardware store or a place like Home Depot.

Likewise, though HomeKit intrigues me. I have no real use for it but I would like to try anyway. Lighting control is part of the day job.

The Hue lights are amazing. Of course, I use them with my Amazon Echo more than Homekit.

I'm not sure if that phrase would work.

However, being able to turn off all the lights in my bedroom without getting out of bed is very nice. Even nicer is the timer that makes them come up very slowly in the morning, especially in the winter. I'm not a morning person and it really helps.
