Q: Second Hand iPod nano

I purchased a second hand 7th Generation iPod nano, I have reset it changed the name in iTunes but when I connect to my Bose speaker by bluetooth the name of the device that the speaker detects is different yet my iPad and MAC connect with the names they are set with, is there any way to reset this.

    Hi,

"but when I connect to my Bose speaker by bluetooth the name of the device that the speaker detects is different yet my iPad and MAC connect with the names they are set with, is there any way to reset this."

That's because the iPod nano is still associated with the Apple ID from the original owner. Unless you can contact them, you won't be able to sync the nano with your computer.

Thanks for the reply, but that's not the problem the iPod does connect to my Mac and I can transfer music.  The problem is that when the iPod connects to my speaker, the speaker annonces the item that connects and it does not say the name I have given my iPod it does for my Mac or iPad.
