Q: iphone 4 problems

iPhone 4, I have tried connecting to my windows 7 computer, and have tried 2 different cables now, (both apple certified), but it will not recognise it at all, I also find now phone will only charge when turned off. Any help would be appreciated.

Follow the steps here, including checking the charging port for any debris:

Hello, Thank you for your help unfortunately I still cannot get my computer to see my iphone, I will go and find a store to take the phone to, again thank you
