    Hi

The included Lightning to USB cable is covered (along with your iPhone) against defects in materials and workmanship under Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty.

Contact Apple Support and arrange for your cable to be inspected by an Apple Authorised Service Provider in India:

Note that the warranty does not cover accidental damage, nor does it cover damage caused by misuse or using the cable outside Apple's guidelines.

Apple's handling instructions for your Lightning to USB Cable include:

"Certain usage patterns can contribute to the fraying or breaking of cables. The Lightning to USB Cable, like any other metal wire or cable, is subject to becoming weak or brittle if repeatedly bent in the same spot. Aim for gentle curves instead of angles in the cable. Regularly inspect the cable and connector for any kinks, breaks, bends, or other damage. Should you find any such damage, discontinue use of the Lightning to USB Cable."

"When you unplug a cable from your product, a power source, or an AC adapter, hold on to the connector at the end of the cable."

I have had this issue before and I can tell you that if there is any physical damage they may not replace it for free. Of corse the decision is up to the people at the Genius Bar. I would make an appointment or go into an Apple Store early for a walk-in and talk to the technicians. I would plan on possibly purchasing a cable though if they do not cover it as the warranty is for manufacturer defects. They do sell cables that are stronger made by third party if this is a problem you experience regularly.  Again, they may decide to replace it under warranty but it is not guaranteed. Hope this helps.
