Q: Ipod nano 7th Gen

Hi all.

Please could somebody help. I have recently just bought an IPOD Nano 7th Gen and transferred all my music from my laptop. The problem I have is with compliation albums I have created. For instance I have created an album called "Running Tracks" and put some of my favourite songs into it. The problem I have is that 25 or so of the songs are in it, where they should be but the other 30 or so songs are not in the album but are in their own album just with that one song in it. This means that on my screen my I scroll through, I have about 50 albums all called Running tracks most of them with just one song in it.

Please could somebody tell me how to put them all into one album. I have made sure that all 50 songs are called "Running Tracks" and deleted the original album name and album artwork, but it still wont put them all into one folder.

Please can somebody help?

Thank you.

The better way to organize you songs for this purpose is to create playlists in iTunes, and put your running songs on a playlist.  You can set up other playlists for other purposes.  Then, set up music syncing for the iPod to automatically sync the desired playlists to the iPod.  When you update a playlist in iTunes (add and remove songs), your iPod gets updated automatically with the same changes the next time you connect it.  The iPod does not need to be connected when you update a playlist, since the playlist is created and maintained in your iTunes library.

I have a set of running playlists, based on the BPM (beats per minute) of songs, that I sync to my iPod nano.  When i go running, I pick the one I want to use that day from the Playlists menu on the iPod.

You can post back with any question about create playlists (including "smart" playlists) and setting up automatic syncing with the iPod.
