Q: Transfer Time Machine to a new internals SSD
My old hard drive in my mid 2009 MacBook Pro has finally had it and no longer works. I have a Time Machine back up and a new SSD internal drive.
How can I start the computer and load my backup to the new drive? I'm sure there are some steps in between. Oh and I don't have a OS X start up disk if that was supposed to help?

The easiest way is going to be to create a USB flash drive installer to use as a startup drive. Maybe you'll need to use a friend's Mac or go to an Apple Store for that.
