Q: some how my iPhone screen is frozen with the insert to iTunes screen. When connected to my computer it does not recognize the devise!

If your iPhone is frozen with the iTunes and USB cable displaying on it, then it is in recovery mode at this time. Try following the steps in this link. If you can‘t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch 

If your computer does not recognize your device while in recovery mode. Try going through the steps in this link If iTunes doesn‘t recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
