Q: rental movie not playing?

Anybody try to rent a movie, watch it download, and then nothing happens? The movie never plays?

    It should appear in your iTunes Movies library, where you can start playing it.  Rented movies are good for 30 days or 24 hours after you first play it (whichever comes first), so iTunes should not start playing the movie automatically.  You may not want to watch it until a week from now...

    hmm, thanks for this! I see the movie under the RENTED tab, but I got to click on the movie and it just brings up a black screen. I can click through the chapters of the movie, but nothing plays.

    You should contact the real Apple customer support.  You can get chat help, or by email.  They may set movie to download again, in case your download is corrupted, or give you a refund.

    You can also report a problem in iTunes, by going to your account screen (from menu bar Account -> View My Account).  In your Purchase History, find the rental, and "report a problem."
