Q: I want all my photos from all my devices to be on iCloud. I want them to upload automatically. I do not want all the photos from iCloud to download to all my devices however. Help!

    As it is currently designed, if you have iCloud Photo Library turned on in a device (via Settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library) the photos will upload automatically to iCloud and they will also download automatically to any other device where you also have turned on iCloud Photo Library. There is no option to prevent that with iCloud Photo Library. It is designed as a way to sync all of your photos to all of your devices. There is an option to potentially reduce the space required on each device by using lower resolution versions (via the Optimize Storage setting which is on the same settings screen).
