Q: Finder not working in standard account
I hope this community can offer some assistance as I haven't had much luck with Google so far.
So basically I created another standard account which does not have admin control on my MacBook Pro with the intention of using this for everyday use. However when I log into the standard account Finder just will not work.
I have tried removing the apple finder plist and rebooting to no avail.
Can anyone offer some ideas on how I can resolve this issue?
MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Thanks for all the help and advice. I actually did a clean re-installation of the OS and wiped the HD over the weekend given the amount of crap I had on my system. From now on I'll be keeping it lean and not downloading heaps of stuff I don't really need. Everything is working perfectly now.
