Q: iPod Nano 7 automatically resumes from pause.

iPod Nano 7 automatically resumes from pause.  How could I disable it? At the moment there is only one way to be sure that it won't resume - switch it off with long press power button. Usually I listen for audiobooks.

Have anybody faced similar issues?

There is no setting for "automatically resume" so it's not something you can disabled.  Maybe it's the shake-to-shuffle feature that is being triggered unintentionally, when the iPod is moved.  You can disable that (set Shake setting to Off) in the iPod's onboard Settings.

Otherwise, it may be your headphones sending false remote control signals to the iPod.  Some headphones have remote control buttons on the cord. Even if your current headphones do not, they may be faulty and sending false signals (in this case to Play).  Try a difference set of headphones to see if the problem goes away.

Also, make sure your headphones plug is fully inserted.  It should snap into place.  If the plug is misaligned, that may cause false remote control signals.
