Q: This procedure is a diagnostic test.

The question how do I clear this file EtreCheck found:

 

~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.CSConfigDotMacCert-@me.com-SharedServices.Agent.plist

        /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/OSServices.framewo rk/Versions/A/Support/CSConfigDotMacCert -l /Users/GeoffreyMcCabe/Library/Logs/CSConfigDotMacCert-@me.com-SharedServices.log -u @me.com -t SharedServices -s

 

A search led me to an older discussion -- "this procedure is a diagnostic test" ...

 

I ran the test recommended in the Terminal but this window said there were invalid characters ...

 

Are there updates or alternatives to the procedure?

Open your user Library folder by holding down the Option key and selecting Library from the Go menu in Finder.

Find the LaunchAgents folder and open it.

Find the file with the same name as shown in Etrecheck and delete it.
