Apple WatchHi,
"This battle has been on-going for months."
Unless you tell us what you have tried that didn't work, we have no way of knowing.
You can use Home Sharing with up to five computers on your home network. Follow these steps to use Home Sharing:
- Open iTunes.
- If you’re not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID. Use the same Apple ID for every computer or device on your Home Sharing network.
- From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose File > Home Sharing > Turn on Home Sharing.
Use Home Sharing to share iTunes content with other devices - Apple Support

Have you set up part of your network manually, e.g. assigning IP addresses?
Home Sharing seems to work best when the router manages all connected devices via DHCP.
